Bieber monkey detained in Germany. German customs officials quarantined Justin Bieber's pet capuchin monkey on Thursday, People reports.
The increasingly erratic pop star attempted to bring the monkey, which he named Mally, into the country without the proper documents.
"Justin Bieber brought his monkey to Germany, but had no official paperwork with him," Thomas Meister, spokesman for the customs office at the Franz Josef Strauss Airport in Munich, told the magazine. "We were forced to confiscate the animal."
Mally was given to Bieber last week from record producer Jamal Shaid. The pair quickly bonded, with Bieber frequently featuring the monkey on his Instagram feed.
