Rapist 34 years, In 1979, a judge told Gary Alan Irving that he could to take a few days to get his affairs in order before being sentenced for raping three women. Irving took that to mean "go on the run and start a new life under an assumed name."
After spending 34 years on the Most Wanted list of the Massachusetts State Place, Irving’s jig was finally up Wednesday night when he was arrested in Gorham, Maine. Irving took up the name "Gregg Irving," and has a wife, two kids and a granddaughter, and had apparently worked the past 20 years at a local phone company. The expression "you never really know someone" never sounded more true ... or chilling.
