Michelle Knight is going home. The first of the three Cleveland women to allegedly be abducted (and held captive for more than a decade) by Ariel Castro, Knight was the last to leave the hospital, released today. But where, and with whom she is going, remains a question.
Knight reportedly does not want to see her mother or grandmother, apparently upset they didn’t do enough to find her while she was missing. Knight’s grandmother said she had believed her granddaughter to be dead, though Knight’s mother did file a missing persons report. Knight was 20 and a single mother who had recently lost custody of her young child when she disappeared in 2002.
