Mayor Rams Car Into Store

Mayor Rams Car Into Store, Mayor Terry Buckle of the U.K. town St. Edmundsbury rammed his car into a supermarket. Buckle, who used to be a driving instructor, drove his car into a local Tesco Express on Tuesday. He was taken to a nearby hospital before he was later released. His family told the BBC that he is “all right.” “He had a slight mishap. They are automatic doors so opened as he approached,” Morteon Hall councillor Frank Warby told the network.

A spokesperson with Tesco said the store’s doors were damaged but much much else was impacted in the crash. “He’s home now. He’s fine and he had an x-ray on his neck and he’s just a bit sore. He’s gone to bed with some tablets,” his wife, Pam, was quoted by The Independent as saying.
