Klum saves drowning son

Klum saves drowning son, Heidi Klum has revealed how she saved her son Henry, seven, from drowning on Sunday while she and her family were enjoying a trip to Hawaii.

The supermodel explained that the youngster got caught in a riptide with two of the family's nannies, and after spotting them in the water she and boyfriend Martin Kristen rushed straight to their aid.

'We got pulled into the ocean by a big wave. Of course, as a mother, I was very scared for my child and everyone else in the water,' she told Us Weekly in a statement.

'Henry is a strong swimmer and was able to swim back to land. We were able to get everyone out safely.'

Heidi, her bodyguard turned boyfriend Martin and her four children, Leni, eight, Henry, Johan, six, and Lou, three, had been holidaying in Honolulu for several days over the Easter break.

Earlier in the day on Sunday, Heidi had posted a snap of brightly coloured Easter eggs on the beach, writing 'Happy Easter' in an accompanying caption.

It appears that before the incident she had planned an Easter egg hunt for her clan.

The family were also pictured on Tuesday having a ball on the beach, with Henry running around on the sand.

Heidi was seen holding hands with her beau as they enjoyed the warm weather.

She channelled her inner beach babe as she took in the sun wearing a black and white tie-dye sun dress for the day.

At one point Heidi enjoyed a tender moment with Martin as the pair stood gazing out to sea as they held each other's hand, with Henry standing close by.

Martin showed off his muscles and tattoos as he stood in his board shorts and white vest top.

Later in the day a happy Heidi took the opportunity to take some pictures for the family album as she was surrounded by her children.

The children seemed happy as they played with their buckets and spades while lapping up the rays.

And Martin showed his paternal side as he then helped them collect up their toys at the end of the day.

The day before Heidi, Leni and her children from her relationship with singer Seal - Henry, Johan, and Lou Sulola  - were seen arriving en masse in Hawaii.
